The only escape from sin is to surrender to Christ. That event of surrender only comes when the Holy Spirit convicts you of your sin and brings you to the point of repentance.
Please take an hour out of your day to hear a powerful message from a man born in 1886. He has passed from this world, but his message still finds relevance today.
